.45 lc

C & L,

Curse you for your latest post!! Tell us more about that wonderful Beretta. Is it chambered for .45 LC?
Yep, its chambered for .45 LC. The Western Ammo box in the pic has an $8.95 price on the end flap...gone are those days! The cartridges in the pic are some hand loaded 255 grain Bull-X Semi Wad Cutters.

The gun never really felt good in my hand as the muzzle felt like it wanted to drop downward. The Tyler T-grip is one for a Colt Detective Special. Even though the Beretta has a one piece grip, the tabs on the Tyler T-grip still fit in place when loosening the bottom screw and two top ones of the grip frame.

I'll admit it looks unusual to see a Tyler-T on a SA revolver, but it certainly helps in holding the gun both before and after squeezing the trigger.

Cocker & Locked I gotta ask about the "Aluminum"? Speedloader for the Blood Work 8 shot??
Never have seen one like it before..
Great looking wheel guns, also the M627 appears to be cut for moon clips too..
I hope to pick one of those up someday when the finacial advisors grace me with their presence..

Anyone have a 66 3"? I had a Lew Horton special run back in the 80's and traded it for a diamonback. I miss that gun.

5-Star Firearms Speed Loader

That billet aluminum speedloader is made by 5-Star Firearms. They make speedloaders for lots of calibers and guns. Here's the link.

The 627-PC Blood Work is cut for moon clips as well...works aperfectly also without them.

Heavy drool here. Have to stick with my lightweight old Model Colt Cobra in .38 spl. for now.

Need me one of them M-66 with 2.5 bbl in .357.

Not a 'great' photo...and perhaps not 'high horsepower'...but this is my S&W Model 10 Snub Nose in a wet molded pancake...along with a spare speedloader.....EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE for all day wear....

S&W 1917 D.A. .45acp was rebuilt by Dave Sams, and refinished by Mag-Na-Port.

Not a Colt or S&W, but my 3" GP100, in my avatar at left, is quite heavy and powerful. Yes, those are factory adjustable sights on a 3" GP100.

My new-to-me Super Redhawk Alaskan fits the description even better, but I don't have a photo, and if I did, I don't know how to use this iPad to work with pics.

Mushinto, that Effector brings back memories for me! I had a 25-2 Effector, in .45 ACP. Hard times in the mid-1980s, however, saw most of my firearms go away.

Been there, done that. It gets better, and then you can try to buy them back -- lots of fun trying.
