Again I ask, why is it so taboo for the MSM to plainly state that a radical muslim wants to kill Americans?
Imagine in you will, a conservative anti-abortion Christian going on a shooting rampage in an abortion clinic. Would the stories that followed such a tragedy include the phrase “… motive remains unclear?”
But that is what we find in all the MSM stories on this murder spree. From the
Virginian Pilot:
Hasan's motive remains unclear, although various sources said he is a devout Muslim who is opposed to U.S. involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq and was upset about an imminent deployment. He also had expressed some anger about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
With the exception of the “devout Muslim” part, this description of Hassan could well describe most members of the Democrat party, the entire leadership of the Democrats in congress and everyone who writes for the Daily Kos.
The
NY Times makes Hasson (1) a victim (2) with all the NY Times approved views of this war (3) as well as suffering from post traumatic stress disorder ... second hand. A "hat trick" in two paragraphs.
Born and reared in Virginia, the son of immigrant parents from a small Palestinian town near Jerusalem, he joined the Army right out of high school, against his parents’ wishes. The Army, in turn, put him through college and then medical school, where he trained to be a psychiatrist.
But Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the 39-year-old man accused of Thursday’s mass shooting at Fort Hood, Tex., started having second thoughts about his military career a few years ago after other soldiers harassed him for being a Muslim, he told relatives in Virginia.
He had also more recently expressed deep concerns about being sent to Iraq or Afghanistan. Having counseled scores of returning soldiers with post-traumatic stress disorder, first at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington and more recently at Fort Hood, he knew all too well the terrifying realities of war, said a cousin, Nader Hasan.
MSNBC is simply puzzled, mentioning only Hassan's anger at the war ...
Anger about looming deployment?
The motive for the shooting wasn't clear, but Hasan was apparently set to deploy soon, and had expressed some anger about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. ...
Lee said Hasan had hoped Obama would pull troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq and got into frequent arguments with others in the military who supported the wars.
The
Huffington Post raises doubts about him being either Muslim or Arab, something even his family does not deny while raising the specter of violence against Arabs by the American people.
Arab and Muslim political groups are bracing themselves for a wave of anger and attacks after news broke on Thursday that the primary suspect behind the shooting deaths of twelve soldiers at Fort Hood had a Arabic and/or Muslim-sounding name....
At this juncture, again, there is no concrete reporting as to whether Nidal Malik Hasan was in fact a Muslim or an Arab.
What could be the motive for Hassan to gun down 43 poeple at an Army base in Texas? Was he just an anti-war Liberal with a gun? It's a puzzlement.
