Bought in 2004 from CMP as service grade USGI (not Greek or Dane import). Has September 1941 serial number, and is all Springfield, but has been refurbed, as you'd expect. Barrel is 1965, and in excellent condition. Parkerizing is >98%, wood is very good with no cracks, and only a few dents. The stock and front hand guard are maple, and rear hand guard is walnut. Extremely accurate, and functions perfectly. Has web sling. Will include CMP document, handbook, and ship in CMP box.

Do you know what the throat and muzzle erosion is?

If you send me your email address, I can show you a picture of "the bullet test", and it indicates a very tight muzzle. I don't have any kind of measure of the throat. CMP didn't post those measurements when I bought it, but I've only run about 6 clips through it. Very good shooter.
