Sorry guys, I have not checked this post for a while, or this board for that matter. I don't have any videos to upload. I am an armorer for my agency and we are in the midst of changing from our G17 and G19 duty guns to G21sf and G30sf guns. Anyway, while talking to our regional Glock Factory rep, I showed it to him and he said he has no idea how this gun left the factory like that. He figured it had to be a special run for someone or maybe a miss by QC. I have the gun with its original non-drop pre-ban mags but no tupperware unfortunately. The only change I made to it was the addition of Glock night sights to replace the factory sights. Thanks for checking it out.

BTW: Its not for sale. I'm a poster on AR15.com and the guys in the Glock forum over there told me to post it over here since someone may have come across something like this before.

That is different.....

Someone refresh my memory.... that model of Glock, which way did it sit in the factory case? Was in ejection side down or up?? I'm thinking that it just made it through a lot of stages of QC and made it on to a gun.

Customer special request. That area of the slide was left pristine to facilitate the mounting of the rear site for a wealthy gang-banger.

QC issues can be strange. Was told by an NYPD gunsmith (I served there for 20 years) that they found a new S&W 10 that came in to the dept that had no rear sight milled on her!

Go figure.

Or....

It was a special order from the factory for a guy that previously shot off his left thumb.

I wouldn't mind if the serrations were a little more aggressive for times my hands are wet or frozen or I'm wearing gloves.

What I really want is a Glock with a bolt from a Mauser rifle welded on it and a trigger-guard for each of my yingers, not just my trigger yinger.

I ain't gonna let a little rumatiz stop me from shooting!

Nice...

I will be the first in line to say that I am not an expert on Glocks. I do gave a "Glock shelf" in my safe and I really like them. To me that slide is as it obviously came from the factory. Since my first Glock I have only had one broken part. It was a slide latch on a NIB G-22. Never shot, never carried....locked the slide back and it fractured. But QC issues come up with them. also don't think anyone could or would recreate that Glock stamping just forward of where the serrations should be.

^ Seems to be the most logical theory. things do slip through the cracks in any manufacture(not just firearms). Very interesting indeed. Photos look legit. If not real, great hoax.
