That's OK. Just set up in an elevated position, keep your binoculars ready and wait. They'll be there soon enough.

Zombie Uprising??
I don't believe in them so I don't worry about them... The dead cannot harm you because they don't exist on this planet! Those that believe and kept the faith are in a better place, the rest fell into the other world from which they also cannot return from....

i guess it would depend on which zombies you are talking of:
the george romero shuffling type or the metal-to-the-pedal 28 days later ones.
if it's the slow zombie, you stand a good chance of surviving, since you can actually run circles around them.
if it's the 28 days later/rage virus type, your survivability just went down by at least 50%. those things are FAST.
anyhoo, I wouldn't want a last stand/alamo type of struggle as you will never win. I'd rather be quick and stealthy than be bogged down by all kinds of overkill weapons.

I have a Ruger Charger and a WASR I was going to use, but the WASR seems a bit heavy. I decided to put my AMD-65 in layaway 2 days ago and it's already killing me. ;]

i got a M4 with 8 mags, a p229 with 5 mags, and a 1911 with 5 mags. Just hope it is enough and aim for the head. I do need to get an aimpoint soon. It wouldn't hurt to get a M&Pc either but there are more importants to get first im my prep.

I need to get a long arm and a beretta 92fs still, before they come... Sks is on my mind. I love glocks but I like berettas for my 9mm action. Should work out decently in the end of days.
What do people trust for their melee weapons?
Machetes? Swords? Fluted Mace?
Or is getting that close avoided at all costs due to risk factor?

I was always a fan of the kukri. I was going to get the medium priced workhorse ones from some generic company, lol. That price tag is a bit steep, but it sure is sexy!
