After Miss Silent_Runner, myself, and the rest of the crew finish with our bats, their heads will be pointy, small, and mushy the tiaras will fit better then and maybe the constant headaches will hush their shenanigans giving you some peace. I hope your day went well.

I heard this today and thought it was funny, so here it is.

I sure hope things improve at work soon! It's always amazing what
a difference one person can make good or bad, isn't it?
It sure is. And I like that prayer, my mother has it on the wall at her house.

Nahhhhh, not worth getting me fired over it. I need my doc here. Go after those demons in my head instead. They're a lot worse than a few drama queens anyway.

Right now they sure don't want to. My shrink says he thinks they do, I'm just afraid and that's keeping me from letting anything out. Not like the first time this has happened, but I hate it because these episodes always end by me getting so overloaded with the crap in my head I cry for 2 days. I'm not looking forward to that again...

I had some of those Light Cokes when I was in the Mediterranean last summer. Just not the same.

Okay, I'll go first. My MIL went to the foot doctor today. Her sores are healing but she still has to go 2 more weeks before she puts weight on her foot.

What are the sores from? Is she diabetic? If you've said I don't remember.
Why the eye roll? What do you mean? How are you with all of this and
how is your wife?

For no real reason I can come up with Magnus is on my mind...
Magnus how are you? What are you doing for the holidays?
Glock26girl needs to say hello, she's within driving distance.

She is not diabetic. She got pressure sores on the ball and the top of one toe of her foot when she had to wear the boot for her broken ankle.

My wife and I have been paying the $135 per day copayment since day 20 of her being in the nursing home. We thought it was going to be for 25-30 days after the 20 days Medicare paid 100% of. . The sores set back her rehab. We are now on about day 65 (total). We are looking at probably another month.

I'm doing better than my wife. Her brother is being a total jerk and is making her second-guess everything she does for her mom and dad. This was making her have anxiety attacks. She went to her doc and got some meds and is doing better.

As far as the money part of things I KNOW that when all is done you won't
regret it. I split a heafty monthly bill with my uncle for several years for my
Granny and I would gladly make the sacrifice again if it helped her.

I'm sorry to hear that the family is divided over the care of their elders.
Bob you know how to reach me by email if your wife wants to talk to
someone outside of the loop who has been through similar things.
SG.

OK boys and girls, I got to talk to Skidoo!
He's as sweet as I thought. Skidoo I look forward to the day
that we go out and ride a couple of ditch pickles or we toss a line
and catch us a fish or two. My best to you and your family.

I enjoyed talking to you too! Walleye shore lunch. I don't know if Miss Lone has had fresh walleye prepared on the bank, if she hasn't, we will remedy that. The only thing gassed up on those ditch pickles will be us!

Skidoo you have that right! No DWI's on anything.
It's great cooking a fresh catch on the shore. Funny enough
eventhough it's heavily marketed I've never had actual 'shorelunch'.
I make my own breading. Sometimes we fillet everything out and
sometimes we scale and fry them. Regardless it would all taste better
if you and LW were here to enjoy them with us.

We are thinking about an ice fishing trip to the Canadian border in lieu
of presents. I wish you could go with us.

LW, they think I sound like you.
I suspect because we've both lived a lot of places and have screwed up accents.

LW,

I hope your pain is easing some today. As far as the drama tell'em to sod off.

Bob, you and your family are in my prayers. Dealing with family is most times more difficult than strangers.

So do you plan to loan him back to me after fishing season, or will you be keeping him?

You be nice to him, and I'll be down south with Engineer where it's warm.

I wish I could tell a couple of them to take a flying leap and get away with it. I managed to stay away from them today, by some miracle none of them managed to break thier computer for a change.

I was just talking to Bob about the same thing. We can get rid of EX'es, friends and acquaintances, but we're stuck with family.

I wish it could be that easy. I'd even go to the PX and buy them all new brooms. I did manage to avoid them today, though.

I'm glad the hugs are squeeze-free, but then I always am.

No they aren't, but I'm used to them.

I sure hope the foot gets much better from here. I know we heal slower these days. I think I'll go to the DFAC and get a bowl of nuts in honor of your BIL......

Thanks. I'm sure not ready tonight. It's almost 3AM, I took my meds a couple hours ago and still can't sleep. Damn! I can't even feel a thing except some anger and frustration, guess I could vent some of that here. Or maybe I'd better not.........

Did you get the whole nuts you have to crack or the chopped up nuts?

I feel better already.

Bring it on, Woman. You know we can take whatever you can dish out. Besides, I think I owe you and Sawgrass one.
