The Gun Rights Revolution

Some Good News....
Quote:
The Gun Rights Revolution You Might Have Missed

Quote:
According to the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, 15 states have enacted some 31 laws regarding guns so far in 2013. Of them, more than 80 percent increase gun rights by, among other things, allowing owners to carry their guns in more places and making it easier for applicants to obtain a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

This isn't the first "Pro Gun Laws" thread that hasn't gotten any action.
If there's no controversy there's no comments?

Quote:
In addition to the gun rights legislation, 38 states took a more drastic path by proposing nullification laws that make them virtually immune to any nationwide gun control law if one is passed.

“There were a lot of states that did introduce bills that would seek to nullify federal law if it were to be enacted,” says Laura Cutilletta, senior staff attorney at the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. “I really think it’s just making a statement, but a lot of states did not waste any time.”

Such bills became law in Tennessee and Virginia, although whether the courts would uphold their constitutionality remains debatable.
Are we headed in the right direction?
What does this say about some of our law makers?

Most Americans have had enough of the anti-gunners BS.

Alright, one more........ 400 views and going for 500

This is some news many might have miss, but should be known.

It's already an old article (Apr 24 3013) but here's another quote...

Quote:
However, far more media attention has focused on the handful of states that have tightened gun laws in the wake of the Newtown school shooting. Connecticut, Colorado, and New York have adopted strict new laws, and Maryland has passed similar legislation that is awaiting Gov. Martin O’Malley’s signature.
