Milwaukee here too, well more Waukesha, but still.
I find myself frequenting Fletcher Arms in Waukesha, but am looking for a good outdoor pistol range. I've been wanting to try McMiller; hopefully I'll get around to actually going this summer.
Anyone know of any decent ranges or gun clubs around the Hartford area?

I walked into Badger once and it felt so creepy I left.
When I'm at Fletcher, it feels right. Very nice people.
And to quote a police officer friend of mine, who's often detailed to watch Badger & stop people as they leave... "Stay away!"
As for ammo, the best prices I've found are at AmmunitionToGo.com
BTW, hi everyone! I'm new to GT, live in Milwaukee, and am active on both Icarry.org & opencarry.org

Milwaukee County (suburbs) , New member to both Glock Talk, GSSF, OpenCarry.org, and the proud owner of a Glock 17 Second Generation
I am a frequent shooter at McMiller and Fletcher Arms
Also if anyone wants to compete on a GSSF team in the upcoming match in October message me and we can try to get sponsors and extra stuff from them if they are willing.

I am from Hartford area, I go to Midwest Shooters in Lomira ( www.mwshooters.com). Its a really nice place with 4 lanes. If you want to join a club there is the Hartford Gun club and another one on Holy Hill road, both are outdoor courses.

Thanks!

Kenosha checking in. I'm a member at CCKC in Bristol, and enjoy their action shoots.
Shavedape, welcome to WI, not too long and you can join us in getting our permits for concealed carry.

Another Milwaukeean here. Now that we're getting CCW I'm getting a bit more serious about my practice time. I used to be a member of Schultz Rod & Gun Club out in Muskego, nice range and trap as well. They run a lot of pistol competition out there. The same group runs a winter pistol competition down at Shooters in Racine.
For local ranges I usually go to either Badger on 43rd St or The Shooters Shop on 84th St.

Janesville here. There is an indoor pistol range within Janesville, and a rifle range in Beloit. Both are decent places to shoot. It's pretty simple to obtain a membership to the Janesville range. The Beloit range requires multiple sponsors.

SE WI here. I will be attending a CCW class this coming Sept. 15.
So far I`m planning on carrying a GLOCK 39 OD subcompact 45 GAP with a
Glock 38 spare magazine. Also I have a J-FRAME Ruger LCR 357 for backup or use as a pocket carry.
What do you guys have plan on carrying? Just curious....

I also live in Milwaukee, WI and just purchased my first handgun (Glock 21 Gen 3). I am new to shooting and also joined up for my gssf license. I have been shooting at the Shooters Shop on 84th street with my dad. I would like to attend the GSSF match in October as long as I get my GSSF license by then If anyone would like to shoot with us shoot me a pm.

I live in Roanoke, VA and I hope the next time I come to Racine that VA & WI will have reciprocity. My wife is from Racine and she still has relatives living there and we visit once a year. It will be nice to carry concealed in Wisconsin.

I shot there once with a rental Glock 21. First time I shot a 45 and it is darn accurate! I normally go at The Shooters at racine though. Good luck !
