A great tune from Kenny Chesney that speaks the truth. I was called out at 0020 Thursday night. A retired city PD officer had dropped dead with a heart attack. He was only 59. Assistant coach of the HS footbal team. Great guy all around. He was at the range and had just requalified for LEOSA. Laughing and having a goodtime one second and gone the next.
I see this stuff everyday. Sometimes its a friend as in this case. Regardless, it never fails to remind me that despite my "troubles" that I'm really "alive and well". Don't take a moment for granted, my friends!

It's been an amazing week for me! I work with the most wonderful people in the world which makes going to work a LOT of fun and a true blessing!
