Made me think! Our sixth grade play was a science fiction play. I remember how much fun we had making the scenery! A space ship!
Our music program for the graduation day included these songs!

My aunt taught me and my cousins how to do this when we were VERY young...backbend and all...while doing this dance...
Still a favorite of mine!!

Peter, Paul and Mary sung this one. John Denver wrote it and I can't find a good rendering by the trio so here is Denver's rendition. I played it driving out of a certain town in 1974.

I guess I liked Chicago because I had a good friend that always performed their stuff! A very talented musician...that played all by ear...couldn't read a note of music!! So...I liked them.
A song that he taught me to play...without music....
If I don't think about it too hard, I can still play it...without the music...by ear...by heart.
