You are younger than I am. I was still YOUNG in 84 but I was working in my career and had my youngest daughter in late 84. OF course, I was the first one among my friends to have children. Most of my friends didn't start for several years after we were finished, but God knows what he is doing.

Now, we are young and have the empty nest and enjoying it. No grandchildren yet! BUT I like the music you post, I was dancing to it at parties we went to! (Leaving the babies with grandma and Papa...which THEY loved, we had a great time!) But we had a good time with our kids because we were young!

Genesis! Phil Collins! I was one who loved the music and never paid attention to the artisits.

My husband got tickets to a Huey Lewis and the News Concert and I had to ask, "What to they sing?"

I told my best friend at work about that and what I said to my hubby, she ran down the hall screaming "Karen!!!! Are you kidding me?" I loved them and their music when someone told me what they were popular for! GREAT CONCERT!!! We had an awesome time! I just liked the music! That's all!

I graduated high school in 1984. Got a DUI in 1984. Had to go to group therapy for the DUI. That was kind of fun.

I graduated from high school in 1974....graduated from college in 1978. Went directly into my career after I completed my summer intership in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. (every weekend moment on the beach!)
Passed my National Exams in October 78, went to Hawaii for 3 weeks, got to work when I got home after 3 interviews. (I was offered ALL 3 jobs )

Got married, in April 1979 when my husband came home after 3 years in the Army in Germany. We had our family...I retired from my career in the early 90s to be a full time mom before my girls didn't need me anymore.

Wouldn't change a thing....except I would have become a full time mom much sooner!
