To go to a dance in our town, you MUST know how to do this dance.
They say the natives of this town, are BORN knowing how to this dance.
I've been taught to do it, but I have to be re taught every year. I'm not a native. It is, however a lot of fun!

It is done by dancing going forward in a circle...I've not found it yet. I've never seen it done in a line dance which is all I've found on you tube so far. I think it is more challenging moving forward in a circle, your arms hooked with your partners.
I can NOT find anything like the way we have done it at our dances!

I am still waiting for a phone call...but I am almost to the point where I don't think "he" is going to call. (ALMOST reminds me of high school! )
It is MY Monday night, and my hubby's Friday night. 
Time for me to go read for awhile...til I get really sleepy. It's hubby's night to monopolize the television and watch whatever HE wants. (NOT much different from my Friday night  )

I told my boss this morning..."GEE, we have to work FIVE days this week!" He said, "I KNOW! What is THAT all about??!" The next two weeks are four day weeks, as was last week. And I'm only working two days the week of January 23!
My mom will be here next Tuesday when I get home to celebrate her 80th birthday!  
I'll have to post a photo of her. She looks amazing for her age! But PLEASE...she already knows that and tells us all the time!

This photo of my mother may be a couple of years old. But it was the most recent I could find. But it isn't more than 2 years old.
 Yeah...she'll be 80 on January 20. The sad part is that she lost her first love...the love of her life when she was only 60...my daddy. He was only 62. My daughter, when she was a little girl had been spending the weekend at my parents home. My parents shared old family albums with her while she was there.
When she came home, and was saying her prayers with me, we had our heart to heart talks at that time. My little Jenni said, "Mommy, Papa was kind of a "HUNK" when he was young!" 
My daddy was a very handsome man. It was so sweet!
I never saw it when I was growing up, but as I got older, women I worked with commented on my dad.....  I realized just how handome he was. 
Mom still says, Jenni was right, he was my "hunk".
When she gets here next Tuesday, we will get the camera out and take a lot of pictures. We've gotten really bad about that lately.
Too bad my photography major nephew won't be here. He took some amazing family photos at Christmas. But he's in LA now doing very well getting his career off the ground!

You need to be checking for an official website Karen, I heard on the radio the other day that Mr. Diamond is planning to tour coming up, if you could find a location close you might get the hubby to take you to a concert.

He'll be in Tampa in June. 
That would be a nice belated anniversary gift....or an early birthday gift....or just a nice "I love my wife" gift!
<--will be dropping BIG HINTS!!! (Actually, he looked it up on the internet...taking my computer to a friend tomorrow to see if he'll help me fix it. I want him to TEACH me what to do. It did the same thing exactly 1 year ago. I was born in the "Show me" state. I want to fix it myself!)

Not sure how much more or longer I'll be able to hold on here.
I believe I may have to bury my laptop this weekend....it's really sad. I think a virus got the best of it.
My hubby's computer doesn't seem to care for GT much.....it doesn't update very often.
I'll try for a little while tonight.
A new computer is NOT a priority in our budget, so if the virus really did mine in, I won't be here much any more..

My laptop was not working right, so I just switched to my husband's...he's slepping.
I can NOT log on to the OAF. But if I go to Glock Talk, it shows me as logged on. Then I have to click on a particular thread to gain access to the
OAF.
It's crazy.
Now, if I go to the main page of the OAF, I will probably be logged off again.
It's frustrating!
I know what you mean at work, too! Our server has been up and down since we went back from Christmas Break. Since I teach Computer Technology, when the computers are down all day, it makes for a real "fun" day for me!
