Probably the first hymn that I learned to play on the piano....a thousand years ago! 
Remembering all my aunts. uncles, daddy, and my mother standing around the piano singing this song!   Most of them are no longer on this earth or are in nursing homes now....except my mother!!!
They sang this one too....
I know my daddy, my favorite uncle...my grannie...are already doing this!!!

The Little Mermaid....
When our daughters were little, we took them to see this one Sunday afternoon after church.
I looked over at my big strong husband near the end of the movie, and he was crying....thinking of how he'd be when he had to let go of his little girls.
It was quite touching!

You are younger than I am. I was still YOUNG in 84 but I was working in my career and had my youngest daughter in late 84. OF course, I was the first one among my friends to have children. Most of my friends didn't start for several years after we were finished, but God knows what he is doing.
Now, we are young and have the empty nest and enjoying it. No grandchildren yet! BUT I like the music you post, I was dancing to it at parties we went to!  (Leaving the babies with grandma and Papa...which THEY loved, we had a great time!) But we had a good time with our kids because we were young!
Genesis! Phil Collins! I was one who loved the music and never paid attention to the artisits.
My husband got tickets to a Huey Lewis and the News Concert and I had to ask, "What to they sing?"
I told my best friend at work about that and what I said to my hubby, she ran down the hall screaming "Karen!!!! Are you kidding me?" I loved them and their music when someone told me what they were popular for! GREAT CONCERT!!! We had an awesome time! I just liked the music! That's all!

I graduated high school in 1984. Got a DUI in 1984. Had to go to group therapy for the DUI. That was kind of fun.
