I remember a time in my life when I TOTALLY related to the "Good-bye Girl".
Seemed I was doomed to a life time of saying "good-bye" to the men I loved the most in my life.

Finally, the last man that I said "good-bye to, too many times, to be separated by "OCEANS apart"...I ended up marrying. 31 years later, he is still the man that keeps me SO very happy every day of my life!
He greeted me with a wonderful romantic dinner for two tonight. He's amazing!

My husband and I saw "J*** Singer" the movie, when we were newly married on video.
I first grew to really appreciate Neil Diamond then... though I had liked some of his music before then, secretly.
He was older for my time at that point, if I recall correctly.
I don't think my friends in my youth were very much into Neil Diamond that I remember.

My youngest daughter LOVES Frank Sinatra type music and listens to him while she is studying! So with that information, you could be very young!
She is majoring in Interior Design TO BE differientiate from Interior DECORATING....she will be QUICK to point out...
So she is an artist....and the music INSPIRES her.

Unfortunately though, I have seen JT with hair on top of his head. That ruins my attempts to claim youth.

I don't think I have either! I recall him older or with longer hair..not much on top when I was a teenager, though.
He's a bit older than I am, too!

Funny, friends say my music tastes indicate some severe psychological disorder. I can listen to James Taylor, The Offspring, Rush, Najee, Rascal Flatts, Alan Jackson,...all in the same day.

My oldest has her first boyfriend over now. They started dating last week. At this stage, I'm fighting the urge to ask him for assistance in sighting in one of my guns.
