WTS/WTT MIL SPEC Desiccant
I have a few hundred bags of Desiccant, different sizes and shapes.
These bags are perfect to put in ammo cans, all of my ammo cans have one of these in it.
They are also great for safes.
Willing to sale or trade for firearm related items pm me with what you got, worst I can say is no thanks.
These packs are "8 units" each
Will ship 10 packs for $15
Will ship 20 packs for $20
If you need more than 10 or 20 pm me and we will work something out , I'm a manager at fedex so I can ship large/heavy items VERY cheap to save you $ on shipping.
I also have 2 of the 80 unit bags, witch are very large and made to absorb moisture in VERY large area's such as a basement. They protect 66.65 cubic feet. I keep one in my safe.
This desiccant is military specification(as you can see in the photo)
NSN# 6850-00-264-6571
Quote:
At 20% RH, Desi Pak will adsorb 50% more moisture than required by Mil-D-3464, whereas silica gel will only adsorb 3.5% more moisture than required by Mil-D3464. Drum Shelf life (5 Years)
Desi Pak meets Method II packaging standards described in Mil-P-116-E, which covers the basic requirement
of military packaging methods of preservation. This involves packaging an item inside a sealed waterproof
and moisture vapor-proof container with the inclusion of a desiccant to prevent rust, mildew or corrosion
damage.

I put one in each of my ammo cans, and it works very well. I also have smaller bags too, witch get the job done but does not take up as much room (i believe the smaller ones protect 3 cubic feet)

Each 8 unit bag is 264 grams (9.31 ounces) and protects approximately 6.67 cubic feet. Each bag measures 5" x 8" x 1 1/8". Desi Pak adsorbs over 20% of its weight in water. Desi Pak unit bags exceed the requirements of Mil-D-3464E.

All PMS have been replied to, so check your messages!
80 unit bags protect from moisture up to 66.65 cubic feet , thats why I use one in my safe. I have about 2-3 of these left as of this posting.
The 8 unit bags protect 6.66 cubic feet, I have about 250 of these left
The 1 unit bags protect 1.2 cubic feet (ammo can bags is what these are perfect for) I have about 125 of these left.

1 pack = 8 units worth of desiccant
the 1 unit and 80 unit packs have reactivation instructions on them, the 8 unit packs dont. although im positive all of them can be re-activated because they are the same type of desiccant.

80 unit bags are $20 each.
Discount's are available for bulk purchases (2 or more bags) or a combination of 8 unit bags and 80 unit bags.
