Have been seeing this thread pop up on a more or less weekly basis for a while, but never had a reason to chime in...until now! 
Long story made short.
Stupid black cat that hangs out around the trailers at work was obviously in a 'family way" a couple weeks ago. All the guys are feeding it, and trying to keep it secret as it's not 'macho" to like kitty-kats.
Last week things became crittical, so we made a little cat house for her outside the office trailer.
Monday morning, there's 5 little furr-balls in the box. Unusually cold weather followed the next day (snow in Barcleona!  )
So we moved the box inside, and "Moma & kids" are living in the closet, in a nice cat pad. My turn to go in and check on the flea-bags tomorrow (Sunday). feed her, make sure she has water, gets some outside time, litter box changed...etc, etc. Everyone is bringing in food and thus far 4 of the 5 kittens are spoken for. (lot of local secerataries and people with kids).
When the kitties are weened, we'll take her to a vet for shots and a "fix" and hope we can find a good home for her.
Photos of the 'family' will be posted tomorrow!
