Funny story;
I've got a juvenile cat, half kitten still. Yesterday he snuck out of the apartment un-noticed, and I closed my apartment door. Poor guy was out there for hours, I didn't notice he was gone until I filled the food bowl and he didn't come running.
A frantic cat-search ensued inside my apartment, and then out into the hallways with no luck. I decided I needed to start knocking on my neighbors doors, to see if someone had seen or found him. Well, as I was making my way from door to door, I came to the end of my hallway, where the walls jutted out, out of sight.
The poor guy was huddled at the end of the hallway, up against an apartment door, frozen still trying to hide. He didn't run or try to stop me from picking him up at all, and he was very glad to get back home.
