They will make you mutter curses under your breath. Little Gracie Slick stole my sock hat off my head while I was sleeping last night and then pooped under the bed.

She's a Tortoiseshell Tabby I think. She has a wild animal lope when she is walking and a favorite spot on top of the water heater. Woe be unto any other cat that ventures near.

I did the same thing, but it wasn't involuntary. I knew I wouldn't be able to resist.

Onyx. Absolutely MUST be in the bathroom with me. More dog than cat. When he was little I'd get this paw on my leg signaling for me to put him on my shoulder like a parrot.

The Okie Corral

He's never bit, hissed, peed on the bed or scratched on purpose. I almost didn't see him at the pound, he was sleeping while all the other cats were making a ruckus. Took him out of the cage, 'tested' him by letting him see all the other cats, all he wanted to do was make friends with the others...and I knew right there he was the one.

Onyx is a fitting name. If now for the eyes I'd still be looking for the cat.

What a pretty little guy!

Are calico tabbys usually short haired? Do they shed a lot?

That is a pretty little cat.

Not always. That's just another color possibility in common domestic cats, just not very common, and only comes in girl. They shed as much as any other kitty.

sawgrass, Boney Maroney there doesn't shed much at all. I comb my cats when they are shedding and never get much off of her. I'm watching my neighbor's house and just now she shot inside when I opened the door to check on things. I had to chase her all over the house to catch her.

I haven't ever had a cat. I'm allergic to most of them. A knesiologist says
he can cure me of my allergies, so I want to get one for my SO who loves
cats. For whatever reason it feels to me that a short haired cat will shed
less than a long haired cat.

That reminds me of my old Chopper Cat!

Do we have to post cats only? Or can we post dogs too?
