Glock 33 round magazine for HD/SD

Mas,
I just got a 33 round magazine for my Glock 19 today. I did not buy it for any real practical purpose, I just think they are cool and think it will be fun at the range. In one of your writings (forgive me, I don't remember which) I saw that you had a Barretta 92 with a 20 round magazine in it as a bedside home defense option. The 33 rounder seems slightly too big to be practical, but I keep all my Glock 19 mags loaded, and the 33 rounder will be no exception. If I ever did use it for home defense, would it be used against me? They are legal where I live (Oregon), but so are 3.5lb connectors and I have heard you (and many others) advise against that.
Thankyou for your contributions to the firearms community,
David

I would expect opposing counsel to invoke images of Jared Lee Laughner. Your side would counter with the fact that a home defense weapon might likely be accessed in an emergency when one wasn't "dressed for the occasion" and spare ammo pouches were not likely to be on one's person.

best,
Mas
