Glockparts.com actually shows you what is in stock. I like that, not in stock, you can't order it. I did order 2 of the 10 round magazines from Glockstore on Dec. 26 and got them about a week later. Some things a vendor can not control, but he can control his customer service even if it means hiring a couple extra people. It's a shame because over the years I have bought quite a bit of stuff from McGill. With all these gun control measures being voted on, I don't see it getting better until next year. Maybe. The day after Sandy Hook I spent almost a thousand dollars buying reloading components. That whole thing and it's aftermath is just disgusting. Yet again they blame the gun,not the the crazy person.

You are one of the fortunate few. After my experiences with them they will never see another penny
from me and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anybody I'd want to remain friends with.
Glad your experience was a good one.

Update for my order placed December 27th

Well, I finally got everything. I got the two KRISS magazine extensions about two weeks ago, and I got the three G21 magazines I ordered this Monday.

I'm glad the experience is overwith and that they didn't mess anything up. God help anybody who has to get something 'fixed'.

So, just shy of 5 months with no worthwhile communication from them whatsoever.

Burned once, shame on them. There should be some kind of law requiring companies to show items as "out of stock" so that those of us who scour the net looking for a place that still has parts and isn't gouging on the prices know if we're buying something that will ship right away or not.

There's something inherently WRONG about taking what are probably THOUSANDS of orders for hard to find parts using a system that "suggests" there is no problem with availability. And, yes, I think it was purposely misleading.

Done with Glockstore. Never again.

Just to throw a "new to the forum" opinion in. After 5 months of no communication, no status updates, and no confirmation email. I told my credit card company to reverse charges. This is not bad customer service. This is criminal. What a garbage company. They have time to do custom jobs for rock bands, but can't fill a basic order. If I could shut them down all by my lonesome I would.

I've ordered a lot of stuff from glockstore with mostly good experiences... I agree it's annoying they don't clearly show (ahead of time) when something is back-ordered like a lot of the ammo sites do these days, but I can say that every time I've ordered something that was delayed I got an email (it was a generic form letter, but at least it was communication) setting my expectation.

That said, it was a one-time thing...and for some items that took forever to come there was no follow up. I always assumed it was because of the current political climate so didn't email or call...just waited patiently. It's starting to sound like a good thing I never tried!

I agree with the sentiments though...with so many sites that do offer good customer service and communicate effectively, it's probably better to avoid glockstore.

I've had two glock 19-10rd mags on order from February, I stopped calling and e-mailing them, still no word-who cares, I'm the quiet type, no yelling or screaming-I just walk away and won't do business with them again. There are a lot of other good Glock stores that give good service.

Midway is the model of customer service IMHO. Ordered 2 G21 mags, had them within 4 days.

Been 5 months for me too - about $100 worth of "stuff." Had an urge and called and danged if they didn't answer the phone!! The 800# too!! Figured they'd just thrown my order away but the guy found it and said the parts were due in this week (right!) and that they'd be shipping it as soon as the parts came in.....we'll see.

They did say they hired a bunch of new employees...took long enough to figure that out but they did....and at least they haven't billed and said they won't until they ship.

So, now I wait and see if that's the truth or just a brush off.

2 1/2 weeks since the promise to ship and not a hint of anything happening...a smooth and reassuring brush off though....

I put an order in with glock meister 2 weeks ago for a pair of 23's with sequential serial numbers so I can give the match to my dad. I spoke with their customer service and explained what I was doing. Not only did they think it was an awesome idea but they would be more than willing to go that for me but it might be awhile. Today, 2 weeks to the day after I placed my order I got notice that they were in route to my ffl. They have been a great place to deal with and are excellent at communicating with customers on any issue.

Which brings me to the point of why I'm writing this. When I was doing around for this project I looked at glock store. They had a better price on the g23 but when I looked them up as a business they had terrible ratings across the board. I elected to pay more money because I had a good experience with glock meister. I was actually a little scared about what a saw about glock store. I know not all of it is true but there was enough to convince me to take my money elsewhere.

Just a quik message to papaduke you made a good choice to buy from someone other than the glockstore. As I have said in all my other postes they SUCK and they always WILL SUCK. Other than that I lost my dad in 2010 so I think that is so cool to buy your father and yourself matching GLOCKS. How cool I truly hope it works out for you guys.

Glockmeister is great - and they're FRIENDLY too. Even answer the phone and emails. IF...Glockmeister carried what I needed I'd have ordered from them in a heartbeat.
