Picked up another XDs 4.0 but in 9mm...

...long story short, my buddy called wanted a Sig so I sold him my plain Jane 229R that I rarely shot. After my 226 Tac Ops, the rest of my Sigs are boring anyway I then thought what should I get and with the 3 free mags from Springfield Armory, I decided to get another XDs 4.0 but in 9mm. It's so hot and humid here in southern Texas so I've been using my XDs 4.0 in 45, love the gun. Lots slide wear on it as I do around 50 IWB draws and trigger pulls (snap caps) daily from IWB.

I know I like 45 for single stack but thought why not, try the 9mm version. The triggers feel exactly the same, short take it, crisp break then relative short reset.

Thanks, I'm really a big fan after owning one. I shot 300 rounds today through the 9mm, another 100 through the 45 and it's really a soft shooter, relatively speaking of course.

How would you compare the recoil between the two? The 45 is a soft shooter?

Congrats, the XDs-9 is a fine little gun. My 3.3 has done well, before and after the recall. The longer barrel does look appealing.
