This has been discussed ad nauseum here. Based on your using such "facts" as the basis for your paranoia, you have some self education to catch up on.

Signing multi-year contracts for ammo is not "stockpiling weapons".

The only thing I was trying to push on you were actual facts. It's far better to diseminate and understand the available information, rather than to get freaked out over nothing.

Use the search function, you'll find that those contracts were discussed, and the math was broken down. No one is "stockpiling" anything, they got multi-year contracts to be provided with ammo that will pretty much be shot up as it's delivered, during normal training.

But by all means, continue with the tinfoil hat group think. Or, read up on the topic, and lower your monthly tinfoil budget.

The impression I get is that the Democrats would be most comfortable with no effective firepower in the hands of the general public other than bird guns and bird shot.

Control of the House, Senate and White House would give them the means to effect drastic constraints on the availability of semi-automatic small arms to the public.

They frighten "progressives" and other human sheep with the fact that mass shootings are perpetrated with hicap pistols, etc., but conveniently omit the fact that in many cases, a competent CCW-holder with the same weapon could have saved lives.

Just another example of the failure of liberals to provide the security and necessities of life they promise with every stump speech; the promises are empty, because nanny governance doesn't work.

Your head would probably spin if you realized just how much ammo the police, and gov't agencies in this country order, shoot, and "stock pile" every year.

450 million rounds, is a drop in the bucket.
Disagree,Agencies are under a $ crush.Local LEOS are strapped for range time. Those local LEOs are shooting .gub ammo. They gotta, they can't afford "boxed" ammo.I don't know of a r/officer that will "allow" a LEO ta shoot reloads during a qual run.

The fed can "afford" high end.Locals can't.'08.

I wouldn't call it panic buying but the potential capacity restrictions motivated me to order the extra mags I have been meaning to get for my 19, 17, and AR.

Just as easy to do on nov 7. I'll see he doesn't carry LA if you make sure we win FL.

It'll probably never make it out of committee, and it'll certainly never end up on the presidents desk for signature.

Sent from the USS Sulaco, while nuking the site from orbit.

I don't consider that a large amount being how many agencies are in on that. It takes a HUGE amount of ammo to qualify for all employees. I know my small 150 officer Dept. Uses an awful lot to qualify and each officer to have roughly 50 on the belt. I'm not worried about that purchase.

The bill won't pass the house so who cares. The repbulicans know they have the gun owner vote they won't pass anything to screw that up, like democrats and welfare. Buy alot if you have the money or buy each pay day it will add up either way.

It all depends on what you mean "local"

if its your podunk 500 person town sheriff's office mayhaps.

I know both of the major police agencies up here have quite the training quota and regime, and we're a "small state"

While some may have bungled their budgets and operating costs, that doesn't mean ALL have.

Right now if you are LE and want to do extra training, bring out your wallet because the training budget is one of the things that get cut first.

Panic buying is a waste of time. I could really make a profit off of the people that believe this crap.
