Is this colt .25 Re-blued? Sell or not?
So i got an offer for $550 and dont use it mostly a safe queen... Will it go up in value or not... And a pawn broker told me that its worth only $250 and he thinks it was re-blued... Do you guys think it was re-blued?

I don't think it has been.
Look at the roll masks, they are normally raised on one side.
It's a very easy way to tell if the slide flats have been polished.
Looking at your pics, it appears that the roll marks are original.
I would say, by what can be seen in the pics, it has nor been reblued.

Sounds like the pawn broker is either a dumb ***, or was trying to
low ball you into a price. DO NOT take guns to pawn shops!
If you are looking for an appraisal, check with an auction house
or gunsmiths. Not Cabeleas, Gander Mountain,.....but a small
mom & pop gun shop. Ask them about appraisal, do not mention
you are thinking of selling

It took me years to hunt down a new one of those for my dad & i ended up paying $375 with original box. The gun was new but the box showed age. If you are interested in selling $550 is a great offer. I just shot dad's the other day, cool little gun. By the way yours doesn't look reblued to me.

As stated by the others the roll marks specifically the pony look too good and sharp at the edges to be a reblue.
Don't deal with that pawnbroker again he is an idiot or a cheat.
Also the blue is the correct color and hue add to that the great looking grips and you have a piece in very good to excellent condition..
Many times someone who does not know anything about guns will look at the edges thinking a 25 is a holster gun looking for wear at the high spots.
That gun was probably hardly ever shot and spent most of it's life in a box.
Keep it as a safe queen or sell it to a collector, what a pretty little pistol.

I don't think it has been reblued, either.
I'll give you a hundred bucks cash for it........

I agree - that one doesn't show any of the rounding of sharp edges associated with rebluing and the edges of the letters are still raised - pretty hard to polish it and leave that. I would think the finish is original.

Thats a nice looking piece. Looks original to me.
I have a jr. Colt .25 with the original box, owners pamphlet and tool that was given to me by my mom. She received it from her aunt 20 yrs ago , put it in a shoe box in her cedar chest and forgot about it. When she was going thru some old stuff in that chest and she found it. If y'all would like to see a pic, i'll post one this afternoon ... IIRC the price on the box says $36.50 .....

Not reblued, the markings are too sharp.
