It's not for me to decide what other people can and can't do, I can only decide for myself.

Why do you assume I am against it? I was asking who is?

I am still baffled as to how suicide can be against the law, and that the remedy to letting people committ suicide is to kill them. Mind boggling!!

Not at all. Life would be a lot different if those four were abided by. Too many people want to control others for fun and because they are so insecure they can't stand freedom.
These four things are just basic manners. Of course there are several who never heard of them or practice them.

I'd draw the line here... If you hand a suicidal person a gun and, through no coercion on your part, they take their own life, not illegal. If you pull the trigger, illegal without a notarized statement, a la CF above.

When it starts negatively affecting me directly. If it doesn't negatively affect me, I really don't care what they do.

Gay marriage was recognized in Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt long before christians claimed it never existed. Gay marriage existed before christians existed.
Accepting gay marriage in this country would be giving freedom to people who should have had it in the first place.

How about not letting the federal government have more power than they were given in the COTUS? "Gay marriage" shouldn't have to receive the fed.gov seal of approval any more than any other marriage should.
ETA: my point is - one need not "accept" it so much as recognize it as much (or as little) in the federal government as any other contractual agreement.

This is the problem with the civil rights act. It eliminated community and replaced it with government. It two gay people want to get married, go right ahead, just expect that some people are not going to like it and may not want to hire you, sell you a house, or even associate with you.

I absolutely agree. If somebody wants to try to get the government out of the business of telling us who we can or can not Mary, I will strongly support them.until then, the genie is already out of the bottle.
