My local gun dealer has a thick book of used gun values he uses for those occasions that people trade in a gun. Is there such a thing on the web? I just bought a like new Kimber Gold Combat 2 and would like to see what its worth. This is my first 1911 and although the thing is certainly accurate I'm not sure I like the feel of it after a couple of Glocks. It is my only gun.

I honestly don't think "book value" holds much weight when it comes to many handguns.
