My only 2 rifles to survive the purge...

Click the image to open in full size.

Woke up one day about 6 months ago sitting on close to 20 rifles. "What the heck do I need these for?"

Ultimately, the choices were made easy - sell everything that is non-NFA.

Unfortunately, I had a 762SD that was pending. So now I have a 30cal can and 5.56mm rifles. Oh well, there are worse problems in life.

I did the same thing earlier this year. But I only had five ARs and I only sold one.

I kept one stock LE6920 in storage and my Block II(ish) 6920 build for myself, gave my 6920 M4gery to my little cousin, and gave a Colt/BCM to my cousin-in-law and sold the last 6920 back to the guy I bought it from.

I figure I'll buy another when I have enough ammo on hand to totally wear out the one I shoot now.

It only has about 7K through it and I only have about 10K rounds on hand, so I'm good for awhile...

Rebarrel the top one in 300 Whisper. Put the can on a .22. Problem solved.

I half thought about selling some of my AR's since I have 4, but 3 of them are NFA and the other is the first firearm I ever bought, so it's a tough decision.

To be sure. I have a few I'd like to replace with others but I'm trying not to sell anything til about October; might be the only chance I have to get rid of my stag SBR without completely taking a bath.

I'm glad I was able to get ahold of your 14.5" BCM a while back. It runs and runs but never complains.

I purged my collection last year. I got tired of buying so many different types of ammo for guns. I also noticed when I went to the range, many of the guns did not go with me. Then there is the SHTF factor for me. If I have to have 1 or 2 guns to carry and feed, which ones will that be?

So I sold many of the run of the mill, non heirloom, impulse bought guns.
