Sorry young guys it ain't going to happen.
They recently pulled something where they are not allowed to pull from other departments to fill custody posts, at least at my joint. It should be interesting to see how it ends up.

Got my letter yesterday. THis should be interesting to see. We've been doing Annual training and been having OT out the wazoo because of short staffed (almost 30 C/O 's down till this new class starts) due to this there's no way we aren't going to have some when they start the furloughs even with non-custody filling posts. We just can't do any on the furlough day, which makes no sense. I can do as much as I want any other day except the furlough days to make up the 80 hours. With all the inmates we have at the hospital I've been getting plenty of OT at the hospital, hopefully it continues otherwise I'm going back to morning watch during this.

Ain't that the truth. Sometimes I love being at an FMC, because of all the hospital OT.

Hand delivered and you have to sign them. The Captain was handing them out and answering questions at our place(well as much as he knew or could answer)

Wow! Leave it to the gubmint to cut the budget with a double wedged sword.

Out of curiosity, how much pay cut are the Senators and Representatives taking?

Because it fits in the liberal agenda.

Supposedly we're hearing that, effective right now, all OT has to be approved by region. Well, considering I had a late relief last night at the hospital, because my relief was sitting on one in the ER and had to wait for that one to get picked up, I sure hope it was approved.......

Remember. We the peons are unimportant to the powers that be. All they care about is staying in power. If they have to trample on us then so be it. I saw the message from SecNav. It's absolutely idiotic and irresponsible the cuts they are making because the increase in spending isn't as much as they want.

This is designed to inflict the maximum pain on the American electorate so they vote out the Republicans and put the Democrats in power to "fundamentally transform America."
