Aid Bag advice

Well, I'm not in an EMT class yet (next class I am aware of that I can do isn't until October), but I did get a part-time job with the Red Cross doing first aid for events here (they only require a basic first aid/CPR certification, and that you get an O2 certification before you start). For this, it's been recommended that I put together a small kit. I already have most, if not all, of the guts of the kit, but I was wondering what y'all recommended as far as a bag.

I was leaning towards the Patrol series from Conterra, as I like the organization and the ability to carry around my waist, instead of a slung bag, for getting around in big crowds. The problem is, I can only find them online, and I can't really get an idea of the size of the packs from that to figure out which one to get.

Has anybody used any of those, or have another recommendation?

No clue on the bag but I have a radio holster from Conterra that has held up great over the years.

Well, I've got the job officially. I figure I'll wait and see what the others on the team are using (I'm doing O2 training with one of the EMTs on the team (also an EMT instructor) before I actually start), and buy mine based on that.

Yeah; head was in the proctologist's area of expertise for a minute. Sorry about that!

So I went in for some training on O2 yesterday, and got shown around everything in one of our stations. We have what looks like this from Galls, but just bigger, and not as heavy-duty:

They're pretty worn out, though. Any idea of what it could be?

Also, it looks like I'm getting a trial by fire my first shift--they have me working a concert at the state fair. This should prove interesting, with lots of drunks at a minimum.

No clue without a label. There are so many makers of bags for medical that it isn't funny.

Sometimes that is the best way to learn. Sink or swim.

Good luck.

Thanks; that's what I figured. I've been looking around online, but couldn't tell. I'm all for the insanity, though; sometimes it's the best way to learn.
