Boo hoo

Some people can't read

Wa wa wa

Fyi this thread came up in the "unread" section when I opened the app. Easy enough to miss that it was within a location- specific forum. It's an online forum. Get over it.

I thought they raised their prices too much lately. Are they better now?

For 'flavor' I like Doug's...don't know why. Maybe it's because I bought my first pistol there. For good service I'd say Impact Guns in Kearns. They're always friendly and ready to help. For reloading components, Sportsmans Warehouse.

I haven't even been into a gun store in years until this month, when I went to Basin Sports in Vernal. That's where the Mad Ogre works, I guess. I always said I would duck in if I found myself up there. Well, I went out of my way to stop in and it was just ok. No 9mm or .22 ammunition, just like everywhere else. I was really hoping to pick up at least a couple of boxes or 9mm.

There are a couple of new shops in the Valley. I just haven't the time or money to patronize any of them.

Mean Metal is a great local one. They sell ARs that are made at a local machine shop. Another good local place is Boomers and Blasters.

And if I am ever in Illinois, I will look them up. Unfortunately, this thread is in the Utah Glockers Club sub-forum.

Have been a customer at Get Some Guns & Ammo in Murray. Good selection of rental guns to try before I bought my Glock 19. Reasonable indoor range, although I wish they would put all pistol shooters on one side and MSR shooters at the other end. I don't find it that enjoyable when I'm next to a group shooting 50 cal.

Still haven't been in there yet. I may have to go check it out.

G&G Enterprise in Kingston Tn. Good prices, good inventor, and he has managed to keep the best selection of ammo that I've seen around here. With the exception of 22lr of course. That stuff is as rare as gold around here

Bringing back an old thread, I'm in northern Utah and like Sierra guns, Kents and Smith & Edwards. Liked Impact in the old days in Ogden when they were in the old location and no one knew about them. Too big now and hard to get waited on.

Ok, as long as this thread back. I gotta throw in a plug for the newest store/range in Layton...Red Dot Fireams. Great people with a really nice brand new range. The vent system is probably the best environment I have ever been in. If you are in or near Davis County, check it out! Just across the street from the Layton Sam's Club on Hill Field.

My son used to live right by Red Dot. We used to go there
when they first opened. Nice people and range. My son
moved to Kali and I have no reason to go to Utah anymore.

I am in the boonies of Arizona, but like Utah. Gun people!

Well I can tell you that all the gun shops in So. Cali. suck ass! Hoping they all go under. Right now my shops are Franklin Gun Shop in TN and Kings Guns in Columbia, TN are pretty chill.

I saw a store right off the Provo Center exit today on the frontage road. Have any of you seen it or been there?

I haven't seen a new gun store in that area. I'll keep my eyes open the next time I'm in the area.
