Favorite Pens

What do you use daily? I'm looking for a good pen because I have grown tired of my current choice. Post brand name and model.

It really comes down to what you prefer, there's ALOT of choices. Ballpoint, rollerball, fountain... And how much you write as well, some run out faster than others. Do you want something disposable? Something nicer?

I use a Montblanc Meisterstuck rollerball.

I've never found the need to carry a pen. We have a Schaffer fountain we crank up for Christmas cards once each year. HH

I pretty much have to use disposable pens in my line of work, due to potential contamination. I love these; but I pretty much have to buy them at office supply stores. I also have not been able to find refills:

Ultra-fine tip, bold black ink makes for small writing. There's a lot to like with these.

My Montblanc ballpoint, at over $100, is the most overrated POS that I have ever purchased. It's in a drawer somewhere.

I use a Montblanc Meisterstuck rollerball. I'm signing things all day at work and the rollerball just glides. Not a fan of the Montblanc ballpoints even though I have three of them.

I use cheap pens, but the best (for me) that I've found is BIC Velocity 1.6. It has a larger tip for those of us that want a broader tip. A larger rubber grip on the lower part for us that have a little bigger hands. Find them at any place that sell BIC.

I carry a Pilot G2 Limited. It looks nice, writes well, and is cheap enough to replace without a thought if I lose one. I actually have two right now because I replaced a lost one and then found the one I lost:

This is what I use. Good heft and smooth. Plus it is a conversation piece.

I tried the ballpoint before choosing the roller and wasn't impressed either. I even thought it wrote about as well as the free pens we handed out at work.

My all time favorite is TOMBO roller ball pens. They feel better and better as you go through the refill. If you have any complaints with any of their pens their customer service is incredible. http://www.goldspot.com/Tombow_pens/Ultra/T55069.html

I do have a Parker 51 fountain pen but it doesn't get much use anymore with everything being multiple copies. Excellent pen though.

Cross is also my other choice but the barrels are small in diameter.

I principally write with a Montblanc Meisterstruck and a Pelikan Souveran 400 Ballpoint.

The Okie Corral

I use the Pelikan when I fly because it offers one-hand operation and writes instantly every time.

Tul pens user here. http://www.tul.com/
No need to use a fancy, cry-when-you-lose-it pen.

I use whatever pen I've stolen from your desk.

I lost mine, and I just need to sign something quick.

By the way, may I borrow your stapler for just a sec?
