Stormtroopers in New Jersey!

Gun Control 'Hearings' in NJ...Danger...Read at your own risk...Your heads may explode!

Representatives of ANJRPC, NRA, NJSFSC, and NJ2AS testified on behalf of gun owners.

Although the Senators on the committee said they were going to treat the hearing process more fairly than the Assembly did in February, there were a number of troubling occurrences during the hearing. First, the four organizations above were promised speaking time of ten minutes each to adequately articulate the concerns of their members. When they came to the table, they were told they had ten minutes total, completely disrupting the planned testimony. Yet the first group of anti-gun speakers were given approximately thirty minutes to speak.

Next, despite a late start to the hearing and a lengthy break, citizen testimony was cut off at 4 p.m. Many individuals who took a day off from work and travelled long distances so they could speak their minds were denied that opportunity. When members of the audience protested, they were surrounded by State Police and threatened with expulsion. The situation was defused when the entire audience in the hearing room spontaneously stood up and loudly recited the pledge of allegiance, which had not been recited by the committee at the opening of the hearing. The committee then proceeded with its vote and several members of the audience left in frustration.

The committee passed bills that would mandate training as a pre-condition to owning firearms, end private sales, replace the FID and handgun permits with a privacy-invading data strip on driver’s licenses, electronically report long gun purchases and ammunition sales to the State Police, suspend Second Amendment rights of persons whose name appears on secret government lists kept by federal bureaucrats, create two different study commissions, and more.
Included on the agenda for Thursday’s hearing are bills that would ban fifty caliber firearms (including numerous modern handguns and rifles), mandate that the State Police publicly disclose confidential ATF trace data in violation of federal law, revoke dealer licenses without evidence of any wrongdoing, imprison dealers for selling a firearm to a parent who intends to give it to a minor child when they come of age, and more. However, this agenda is subject to change, contains numerous Assembly bills that are being consolidated into new Senate versions, and the most recent Senate versions may be changed on the day of the hearing. What is posted is confusing at best.

"sigh"

With so much interesting history and so many cool things to see and do in NJ, her greatest weakness is the over-reaching liberal majority (or under informed population). Heck, I had no idea it was possible to CCW til I relocated to America. (I moved out of state)

Sadly, this behavior of NJ politicians goes back even before the Revolution. Ben Franklin's son, then governor of the colony, was a loyalist. Once the Revolution started they did not speak again.

Residing in NJ I watched yesterday as our Constitutional
Rights were badly crushed. I am a Viet Nam Era Veteran Marine and it sickens me what has become of New Jersey.
I am seriously considering moving to Constitutional Gun friendly state. This is a Police State.

Agreed. I was born and raised in Jersey and moving west 40 years was the best things I ever did. If it wasn't,
'T for the fact I occasionally have to visit relatives I would never go there again!

I'm convincing my family to join me down south. Good chance that they will. After that I doubt I'll have a reason to return to NJ

I grew up in that place. The day after finishing school I had my bags packed and left. The problem is the dirt bag libtards come down here when they retire. Then try and force their beliefs here.

I'm sorry to see New Jersey join the list of the other communist states. Under Obama the Americans are loosing more states to his communist rule.

This is 'The Peoples Republik of New Jersey'!

Second Amendment activist James Kaleda was forcefully removed from a hearing regarding new gun control legislation in 'The Peoples Republik of New Jersey'. Kaleda was making a calm, measured, intelligent argument in rebuttal of 'over-the top' anti-gun legislation, when NJ StormTroopers were ordered to remove him. Only those who agreed with NJ's anti-gun agenda were permitted to speak freely.

In the youtube video, the legislators laugh as they have their security (Armed NJ StormTroopers) remove Kaleda before he is even allowed to finish his testimony. Kaleda receives a standing ovation from the gallery during his ejection.

Apparently, how they handle dissent in NJ is to remove it under armed guard!

Note: I tried to submit a photo but it wouldn't work. Search Youtube for the video.

So why didn't they step in and stop the JBTs from removing him? The reason the Fascists get away with what they do is because people are too cowardly to do what is needed to stop them. Oh, they'll moan and groan but when it comes to actually taking action they limit their action to standing and claping. Pitiful! Then only rights we have are those we are willing to fight for. They deserve what they get.

The reason that I continue to post information regarding
'The Peoples Republik of New Jersey' is to remind gun owners throughout the U.S. that the BHO administration is attempting to spread New Jersey's liberal agenda (like a virus) to all of the other states. Watch the Youtube video. Doesn't NJ remind you of pre-war Germany in the 1930's?

Not surprising but you have such a "strong" Republican Governor I can't believe he lets this go on.

That will never happen. To be a successful NJ politician, you have to be for gun control. I will be voting with my feet within 2 months. F NJ.

I was there that day, I was the first person there that morning and never got to speak. The crowd was probably 80% pro gun yet they made you fill out forms on which topics you wanted to talk about and whether you were for or against. They then picked people to speak so that they had roughly equal numbers speaking for and against. IF you were for their bills you got to talk about anything you wanted. If you were against them the ass wipe Norcross would cut you off and say speak to the bill speak to the bill. It was a total joke. If the law did not require they have this meeting they would have just voted in the dark, it was already decided before the meeting what would happen. The entire thing is a disgrace.
