If you have a Glock .40 already, it might be easier to find a .357 Sig Conversion barrel.

It'll either be a G23 or 22 in .40 S&W.

Sent from the bluegrass state using my LG. Go Mariners!

currently own three 9mm, and two .45. Next up is an SR1911 Commander so I have an equal number of 9mm and .45. No more than two different calibers for me. Had 3, but sold my G23 to consolidate down to two.

I really wanted a 1911 .45 ACP for my next handgun. Now I'm thinking something else with ammo availability being what it is. I have a few hundred rounds each of 9mm and .40S&W and don't want to have to stock another caliber.

My next handgun is going to be in 9mm or .40 S&W just because that's what I have. Now that I have ruled out a 1911, I am considering getting a SA 5.25 in .40. If the ammo shortage should improve by the time I'm planning to buy (2014) then I'm going for a 1911 in .45.

The caliber will start with 4, after that... depends on if I want a really nice 1911 or a really nice revolver. Next one won't be plastic. It will be large, heavy and used to bust hogs.

Wish my 629 was 4-5" instead of 3". Just don't get the range I want which is a shame, it's a beauty. Sold my 5" to my brother for pennies on the dollar and he's shot it twice in six years!

Thank you pard.
Your buddy is a most wise man....

It's pretty new to me, and I haven't even had the chace to pop a cap on it yet. ha. If it shoots as good as the rest of the P220's I've owned, I will be very pleased.

Stay safe out there !

I am thinking 10mm (G29). Any pros / cons on this one? Also do I need a RSA with a longer barrel?

Great choice. I'll say even more reliable than the 20 for one reason: The 20 mag springs go bad after a lot of use/being fully loaded for extended periods. I've never had to replace mag springs for my 29.

Wolff RSA with 21# springs are what I use.

Either a .22LR/Mag Ruger convertible revolver (always wanted one) or a 9mm XDS. Depends which one I stumble upon first.

I carry a 4" .357 Magnum for CCW and shoot .357 Magnum in it. Not .38 Special.
