Skulls and crossbones.

A lot of the stuff we sell at Wal Mart has skulls and crossbones in it, what's your opinion of them

You should have put a "Don't drink it" option in the poll. That's what I'd have chosen.

i like skulls minus the crossbones. i do not like skulls because they are "evil" or "badass" or any of that other goth/biker/punk rock crap. i like skulls because they are the container of the human brain which holds all our information and controls all our bodily functions. skulls are also like snow flakes and no two are the same.

i have a lot of skull items but unfortunately most of them are the typical biker or goth type skulls because it's rather difficult to find anatomically accurate skulls without special ordering that sort of thing online.

They go well with my baggy shorts, sideways cap and 13" bicycle I use when I hang around the 7-eleven. Never mind that I'm 32 years old...

I'm ok with them. My wife makes skirts for skirt purses [a skirt purse is a purse that allows you to change the outside of the purse, while only having 1 purse. Basically an interchangeable cover for all of the 'too manly' men around here that don't know what they are]. She makes custom orders, and many of them have skull &/or crossbones on them in one way or another.

Very sophomoric in many cases IMHO. Maybe not as bad as all the florescent green"zombie" related items. Okie Memorial Area

They belong flags, flown on pirate ships, operated by pirates.

When I was a little kid I had decals on my bike with skulls and couldn't wait to be grown up so I could get a Skull and Crossbones tattoo. I thought anything pirate related was the coolest. Over half a century later I still don't have a tattoo. I do however have several different Skull and bones T-shirts and a Skull ring like the one that Rolling Stones guy wears. I wouldn't wear them out of the house because I don't want to offend some people that associate these items with totenkopfs. Nowdays every weirdo kid has skinny jeans, Converse tennis shoes and a skull and bones something or other. To me it is no longer unique. YMMV. tom.

We would get the Jolly Roger flags and plastic skulls at the county fair each year and would use them to decorate the forts we built in the woods.

I preferred the skull tattoo with the snake going into and out of it's eye sockets.

I hoist a Jolly Roger once a year for the Gaspirilla celebration, commemorating a pirate who may or may never have existed.

Other than that, unless its some girl trying to be cute, they're ridiculous.
