Good point, that's why I went with the 3 1/16th" barrel for my .357 Ruger SP101.

I went back to old school myself. I went to Ruger SP101 in .357/.38,S&W Model 64s 2,3,and 4 inch in .38. And a single stack 2 Rock Island one in .45 and the other in .38 super. The Rock in .45 is the compact 3.5 inch barrel and parkerized slide and frame.

Nice! Looks great. I picked up a 3" Model 36 this week as well. Standard latch with a heavy barrel and aftermarket grips. Nice find! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine.

Congratulations and good for you. for some reason they feel good to carry.

I agree in carrying a revolver. Mine is a four inch barrel. I would have preferred a 3 inch. I also believe in carrying the most powerful caliber I can shoot well and fast. I want to change to a .44 Magnum when the right one is available.
