Maybe even address the proper use of "their" instead of "there"

That's all that matters... at the moment.

You put your point across, as do the vulgar posters you apparently disdain, for the most part. (some great responses in the above posts)

Ya ever had yer newfangled phone thingie change spelling on you... and you just dont give a dern to edit/tweak it right?

I wonder if the newspeak that texting brought us will become the norm. both written and spoken... and if so, how soon? How will they grade spelling tests in school?

But then again, even Billy Shakespeare was an awful speller... eh? (muahahaha)

Ignorance is Bliss. That's why I'm so Happy I guess.

Only 659 posts and you're ranting about others? You must have big........you know how it goes from here.

Either you needed a comma after up, or you needed another t for but. I've got extra of both if it will help.

A motion is before the group to not allow English teachers to post anymore.

Anybody second the motion?

And why hasn't anybody mentioned the eye bfour eee, or eee befour eye carp? Really irks me. I may have to start a thread about it.

You wanna look stupid, that's your "right" I guess.
Unfortunately it sometimes outside the control of the poster. I create paragraphs and periodically the entire message is mashed together when it posts.

Here ya go... Friday at work, I was outside smoking and as I typically do, reading a book whilst I slowly kill myself... when a neighbor pulled in. When he exited his truck he paused, looked at me and told me, "You inspired me. I see you out here every day, reading. So... I bought A BOOK. It's the first book I've bought and read since High School."

I was floored. Flabbergassed. IF, if he is typical (I presume he is a typical 40-something plumber) grammar is not the only issue.

You use the to have to go to a bowling alley to meet people of a certain caliber.
Now you can just come here.

You might also consider going back to sixth grade to learn how to create paragraphs.

It apparently does take a lot of effort.

Maybe you are missing the point. The OP titles the thread "displays of ignorance", then he goes on to exhibit his own ignorance with his own shining example, with a flare of sarcasm.

Maybe it was tongue in cheek. I doubt it though.

You are so Glock Talk when you post complaining about grammar, with extremely poor grammar.
