My uncle has them on his G19 and loves them. They look like they would be really good. Easy to aquire fast but offer more precision than XS sights. Too bad they are only made for Glocks.

I've been looking for a bar dot sight replacement for the Glock but came up short until I found these.

Seems the rear are luminecent and the front are tridium which is fine by me. Not a bad price for these either.

Is this better than the three dot system? Or is it just personal preference?

A bar dot is more intuitive and less confusing when stressed, IMHO. With the front and rear having a different configuration, the mind can more easily distinguish the difference.

First find the front sight, then line up with the rear. Consistant grip speeds this alignment up.

That being said, many use the 3 dot and like it. Usually the front sight is larger or has some other variation from the rear dots (color) to provide intuitive differentiation.

With color blindness and astigmatism in my life...the bar dot is my preference.

I've been looking at them as well for my 30s and I think they would work great I just wish the rear line had a yellow tritium vial in it along with the yellow line, I wonder why they chose not to go rear tritium.

I can't find them in red maybe they don't make it but I see some google pics online with red.

I ordered the front for my Gen4 G30. It will be used with factory rear and mostly for GSSF competition :-)

They seem to have 2 colors, Orange and Green. You can also buy them separately and mix colors if you want.

So I go the CAPS in today and they are now installed on my 30S, very impressive. I got the green I wanted that glow the orange CAPS does not have, the front tritium is bright but I'm pleasantly surprised how bright the green photoluminescent is.

It does not take much to get them glowing and they glow for a good amount time even with a short burst from a flashlight. What I like most is going from daylight outside to a darker interior and watch those sights glow.

Sitting in my man cave with very little ambient light from my TV and my adjustable ceiling light dimmed down as far as it will go seems to be enough to keep the sights glowing a little. I have not had a chance to shoot with them yet so I can let the loctite dry but I can tell I'm going to like that big bright front site.

jhc37013, is the green actually green or is it yellow as it appears to my eyes?

In my experience, it is personal preference but can also include what you are used to shooting.

The photoluminescence is yellow in the day but when charged and in darkness it is green like tritium, really bright green when even briefly charged.

I actually sold them while they was on my 30s, I don't mind that I sold my 30s but I wish I would have taken the CAPS off first and kept them for my 30SF but I have TFO's on it and I just can't seem to change from those even though I liked the CAPS a lot.

I do wish their was some kind of tritium in the rear but I guess the whole idea is to focus only on the front site in low light.
