I just finished reading his book. I recommend it!!! It's also quite sad to read about him wanting to help vets only to be killed by one...

I finished American Sniper last week, great book a simple telling by Chris of what made him who he was, what he did, and how family life and Warrior life conflict.
It is a very easy read, and an honest look into a hero's life.

I read through his book in about five days. It usually takes me a month to get thorough a book, as they put me to sleep.

It's nice that President Obama acknowledged his passing by asking that the flags be lowered to half-staff on the day he was killed until his funeral ........oh wait, that was Whitney Houcston !!

People and their priorities !!!!! The President never even acknowledged his passing as far as I know!

Actually, it was Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey who ordered the flags flown at half mast, and it only applied to the state of New Jersey.

He was a true hero.

However, I take issue with his killing the two guys at the gas station and his assault on the football player. Was this ever reported in the news?

Neither event was written about in his book. It might just be things made up by others and passed on as just stories that became myths.

That's OK.

Personally I would get very pissed if that phony POS obama even said Chris Kyle's name.
obama isn't fit to shine the shoes of a man like Kyle, much less talk about him.

Loan it! Why cheat his widow out of her royalties from his book? You can get it for about $7 at Costco.
