Federal 5.56 T556TNB1 62gr OTM Mod0 Review
http://thegunwire.com/blog/youtube-v...s-gel-test-hd/
I caught this review of Federal 5.56 T556TNB1 62gr OTM Mod0 rounds by MrGunsNGear on the Gun Wire today. I have 24 of these rounds in my bedroom LE6920 topped of by 6 rounds of Ranger 64 gr PP based on the drywall penetration tests at
http://how-i-did-it.org/drywall/index.html
I figured that if I ever had to fire more than 6 rounds in self defense, something terrible must be happening.

Four of the six mags in my 5.11 Bail Out Bag are loaded with these rounds (with tracers at 10, 20, 29, & 30 rounds). The other two magazines are loaded with Black Hills Mk 262 Mod 1 ammunition.

Looks like the case of 64gr Ranger I bought will become my HD/SD ammo! I'll use my 75gr Hornadys for punching holes in vehicles!

They don't look like they perform that well. Wound channel is a little weak and over-penetrated. I would rather have M193 to be honest.
