I had the distinct "pleasure" of going on a field trip with my daughter's kindergarten class. The kids were not the problem, its the parents which give me little hope for humanity.

I love going to the hood! Had to do a home verification this morning, knock on one door identify myself three times because yelling "probation officer" at the top of my lungs at 0800 once is never enough.
The lady next door peeks out, I tell her to go back inside, not there for her. The resident of the apartment I'm trying to get FINALY comes to the door...in a shear shirt...with nothing under it...and she wasn't hot...
It's never the hot ones.

Yep, I went on a field trip with my oldest son's class to the zoo. I weep for our future.
On a side note, my Aimpoint Pro came in last night. I can't wait to put it on my AR and get it sighted in.

I had a hard time with how some of the parents ZERO regard for their own child's safety, and I was the only dad there so the assumption was made that I was a jobless bum or some creep looking to hit on moms.

Yep or all the moms are back in their little social circles from high school while their kid is getting into trouble.

It's in the 20s and 30s F here at night still, too. I had to cut short my camping trip over my vacation because it hit 19* that first night. We ended up in the hotel in the park instead.
