Senate Bill 396 was introduced last night by anti-gun Senator Tick Segerblom (D-3), a new bill for us to oppose.

http://www.leg.state.nv.us/Session/7...ory.cfm?ID=925

Senate Bill 396 is a Feinstein-type gun ban that seeks to effectively eliminate most commonly owned semi-automatic firearms and magazines. As previously reported by the NRA-ILA, Segerblom has launched an all-out attack on gun owners this session and is determined to take away your rights! His bill covers the full gamut of anti-gun measures seen across the country lately, including the following:

§ Prohibits the purchase, sale or transfer of commonly owned semi-automatic firearms under the political misnomer “assault weapons”, and makes a violation of any of these provisions a felony.

§ Prohibits the purchase, possession, sale or transfer of “large capacity magazines” – meaning standard capacity magazines capable of holding ten or more rounds.

§ Prohibits the purchase or possession of “metal piercing bullets” which is a clear attack on all ammunition.

§ Criminalizes private transfers of firearms by requiring background checks on firearms transfers unless the person receiving the firearm has a Concealed Carry permit.

§ Prohibits a person convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence from owning firearms.

Several gun Bills are scheduled for hearing in Assembly Judiciary on Wednesday at 8:00 AM!

We have nine pro-RKBA bills up!
There are three putrid attempts at sedition being pushed by extremist.
One bill appears possibly OK at first glance but has a lot of potential for abuse and expansion in a bad direction.

I have the BS "Informational Hearing on Gun Violence" on video CD.
This is what the anti's are depending on to support their extreme positions.
The lies and distortions presented there are being accepted without any fact checking.
WE have the opportunity to correct the record, but at three hours long I could use some help.
We need to get onto the worst lies in time for the Wednesday hearings!
The last time several bills were heard back to back the committee chairmans bias against our RKBA was glaring.
We need to pack the room on Wednesday, to support AB143 & AB195.
Also to crush AB234 and SB277.
SB277 looks to be a reactionary bill with too many open questions.

I did not make live links for all the bills this time around as there are already live links in the earlier post for this thread.

AB143 by Assemblywomen Fiore, the Campus Carry bill.
Hearing on 4/03/2013, in Assembly Judiciary, 8 am.
AB195 by Assemblyman Ellison, Allows renewal of a CCW early.

Hearing on 4/03/2013, in Assembly Judiciary, 8 am.

SB277 by Senator Kieckhefer prohibits a person from purchasing a firearm if they have a petition for mental evaluation filled against them.
Hearing 4/09/2013 at 3:30 in Senate Health & Human Services, at 3:30 PM

Here are the bills that are out on firearms.
Personal and Committee bill introduction deadlines have already passed, these should be the only bills on firearms this session.
So unless some really dirty tricks are pulled the list is now complete!
One dirty trick we have to prevent is bills missing their next deadline due to not getting their second hearing.
This is how Campus Carry was killed in the last session.

AB340 by Assemblyman Hambrick repeals Clark Counties Handgun Registration.
