Gen 1 AE prefix

Hey all,

I just missed out on a gen 1 with a AE prefix. I was short on cash after picking up a AP prefix gen 1 a couple weeks ago.

The owner claimed that this gun was imported in 1984 as a test gun. I did see pics of the gun and it did have the AE prefix as stated. Also interesting is there was no patent number on the bottom of the grip that my AP has.

So how bad did I screw up? I am kicking myself now. The pistol was sold for $650. I am kicking myself now
