May?! Holy mackerel. Wonder if all counties are going to have waits this long. I'm in Cuyahoga and need to apply for the first time, but am considering Medina. No way I'm going with Cuyahoga.

Don't know if I could stand waiting for 4 months. That'd be excruciating.

Check out Montgomery Co or an adjacent county. You may be able to get in sooner. Butler County maybe...good luck!

MAY for a renewal???

Hocking Co. Walked in during their CCW hours and had my renewal in 30 mins, and that included a first time session for my wife...

Tried to get an appointment in warren co. in dec,earliest date was mid april (expired dec 22)went to Montgomery
co...walked in filled out app and came back in 2 weeks to pick it up
