I haven't bought anything in a while. I ordered a Case/ Tony Bose Lanny's clip in ebony from my local store back when they things were first announced, and they sold the thing to some other schlub. I've been so irritated about that I've just been carrying stuff out of my collection for a while. I have pretty much everything, and not much new has come out lately that I'm interested in. Here are some of my traditionals.

Yeah it is. I think you saw the thread where I read that someone wasn't happy with their edge so they used their EP to rebevel it and it took 3 HOURS?!

I just bought this yesterday because it was a good deal. I already have a newer model of it. Just couldn't pass up a good deal.

Couple new ones, the first one is a custom wharncliffe flipper by Phil Tham that came in a week ago. AEB-L blade, titanium framelock and liner, green maple burl scale. Very well put together knife, and I'm always happy to try a new blade steel.
Second is another Blur that came in today, this one is a green/carbon fiber Snap-On handle with an uncoated CPM-154 blade.

Yeah, really sucks, hope he recovers quickly. I actually have one on the way back from him now, and another that I'll be sending when he's better.

I got into becker fixed blades this year and picked up a BK2, BK16, BK14, and bk13. Can't beat 1095 CrO van American made at their price point. Awesome blades!
Also have a zt0550 coming and a DPX hest 2.0 folder. I have only been a spyderco folder guy (being i am a CO native) and these two will be my first non Spyderco folders.

The blizzard backed mail up for most of the week, and the result was one hell of a haul today. My small Insingo micarta came back from the factory with dual thumbstuds, my Umnumzaan blade came back from being heat treated by Paul Bos to 60HRC, my Onslaught came back from getting the blade acid/stonewashed by Rival, my box of Leek parts came in from Hawaii, my damascus Kershaws came in from House of Blades and Kershawguy, and (by far the biggest news) my ZT 0777 came in from Knife Art!
The ZT 0777 is by far my favorite knife I've ever handled, and I can say for the first time in my life that if I could only have one knife, this would be it. Beyond fantastic. The internet is abuzz with people saying they're collector knives, never to be used, etc. Here's what I think of that nonsense:
I refinished my Umnumzaan blade with a heavy acid/moderate stonewash, first time I've tried that on a blade, and it came out very well. Took 4 tries before it was exactly how I wanted, but I'm very happy with the result.
Before:
After:
The damascus Kershaws. I'm gonna sell most of them when the market dries back up, should be able to double my money. ****ty indoor nighttime pics:
