So, I got myself a Dell Inspiron Mini netbook a while ago. I like it a lot - perfect size, bright screen, long battery life, Ethernet port, GPS receiver... My only problem with it was the touchpad.
You see, some "brilliant" engineer at Dell decided to put the mouse buttons under
the touchpad surface. So unless you move your fingers with surgical precision, the cursor walks away as you are clicking the button.
Tonight something clicked in my head (no pun intended) and I got an idea...
Every modern keyboard has two buttons I never use. The "Windows" key and the "Menu" key. So, with the help of a great little piece of software called AutoHotkey, I turned those useless keys into mouse buttons. Works great!
