American Classic trophy
I recently traded my glock17 for my first 1911! It's a trophy by metro arms. I put about 400 rounds through her. No hiccups at all. I really think my 10 year obsession with Gastons perfection may be giving way to this groundbreaking new 1911 design

Congratulations. Sounds like a very nice acquisition. although I have had a 1911 since about 2004, I am now starting to get into them. Don't think they will ever replace my Glocks.

Is that Metro Arms made in the Philippines? I recently picked up a Philippine 1911, a Citadel Compact (made by Armscor) and I am really liking it.

I don't know if I would trade away the Glock 17, but hey, it's all good. My first generation G17 is the only Glock that I would keep. Hell, it's the first and only Glock that I thought of whenever people mention Glock. I sometimes forgot that I also own the G20SF.

I'd never get rid of a gen one either! I had three gen 3 17s the one I traded being sort of an extra. My OCD only requires me to have 2 of everything so it was ok

Shot all day with the trophy and the classic 2. One failure to feed on a full mag with the first shot of the classic. 400 rss later that was the only hiccup. Now my question is do I need to save up for a more exPensive 1911?
