Removal of a magazine disconnector is allowed in Production... which the Browning is not eligible for. It is not mentioned that I can find for Limited or other divisions that the BHP could shoot in.
I am no longer a regular USPSA shooter and not able to pronounce on it. (IDPA has started allowing you to remove magazine disconnectors.)

You could either
1. Take it out and say nothing.
2. Ask the MD where you shoot.

If it's a 9mm, and you're not shooting in production.... you're gonna be at a huge disadvantage in limited or L-10, assuming it's legal for them. Gotta run major power factor there or you're already a step behind.

Circa, you can shoot a BHP in USPSA, but it is not legal in Production because it is single action. You can shoot it in Limited and load up your mags, or in Limited 10, and only put 10 in them.

You will lose one extra point for every non-center hit on the target because you are shooting 9mm as opposed to a .40 or .45. It's not a huge disadvantage, but it is a measurable one. Just got out and shoot and after a couple matches you will get an idea for what division you prefer and if you should get a new gun for USPSA or not.

You can remove it in any of the divisions it's legal to shoot in.
