No, but I was fresh out of the Army. Thank G-d, because I'd have never gotten away with watching it in the barracks. Oh the shame!

Best,

Dave

I had to do a little searching but I finally got the name of this one, Fernwood 2 Night, and that one reminded me of Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. Been bugging me since this thread was started. ETA, aka America 2-Night.

There was a show on back in the 80s about guys driving around in futuristic trucks. As a kid I watched it.

Adventurizing with the Chopper, a 1970s summer-replacement series that was a take-off on black-exploitation movies, The Chopper was a bumbling black private detective who presented himself as a genius and karate expert. He drove around the ghetto in the "Chopmobile", which I think was a worn-out Cadillac Eldorado that had a hood ornament in the shape of a hand ready to give a karate chop.

High culture.

You beat me to it!!!!! I loved that show!!!! I'm kind of surprised with some of the shows folks say they were EMBARASSED to admit they enjoyed, though. I PROUDLY will admit that I watched Alien Nation (including the original movie which spawned the series and all of the made-for-TV "reunion" movies).

70's and 80's TV shows are what we did before we had cable TV and the internet. And remember, "antenna" TV was FREE. I pay $100.00+ per month for cable now, not including the internet.

OK......I WATCHED SPACE RANGERS and FORTUNE HUNTER!!! AND BY G-D, I ENJOYED THEM!!!!!!!

There is no embarrassment possible from watching ANYTHING with Lee Majors in it. Do you realize that he spent something like 14 years in "Prime Time" television between "Big Valley", "The Virginian", "The Six Million Dollar Man", and "The Fall Guy"?

I did enjoy "The Fall Guy", and always wanted one of the cool jackets they wore.

This one is so obscure, I don't even remember the name of it. It was about a doctor that rode on an ambulance, sorry, amberlamps, who was also a police officer. This was the early 70's. I remember calling it "police doctor" but my Google fu fails to confirm. Any ideas?

OMG, how could I forget??!! When I was in college I was a broadcasting major and I had an early morning class at the studio. We would all get there early and watch "20 Minute Workout".

"4 more, 3 more, 2 more, now bend, and flex and bend..." You get the idea...

So, I'm not the only one. I found it on Netflix a few months back and watched it again, it's still funny.

thats not obscure, unfortunately. Its currently on, about a couple of ham planets. Guess they're trying to make fat and disgusting acceptable.

I never watch it. Have seen the ads for it tho.

A couple I am embarrassed to admit to are Scrubs, The Office, and I have just recently found interest in 30Rock and Parks and Recreation.

The last two are funny as hell and quite a bit edgy in what they can get away with.
