Heads Up- Glock Factory G19 Hi Caps Available

Got an email earlier this evening... I've been looking for more mags, and occasionally I'll find them available, but they sell out sometimes in under an hour. There are several others sizes and calibers available, although not at the best price.

Wanted to let it be known... I can vouch for Glockparts.com, having done business with them before.

G19 Factory High Capacity Mags

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm settled on mags, but I'm sure there are a lot of folks who will be glad to hear this.

If it is a standard capacity magazine, how can it also be high capacity? It holds what the gun was intended to hold.

Oh, how fascinating.

Maybe you can also regale us with the differences between magazines and clips!

Stock capacity or standard capacity don't use the antigun scum****ers terms.

I'd like some mags but don't need them that bad. Plus I'd rather have 17 mags, could use them in two glocks instead of one.

Agreed - That's what they were at the Cleveland show last weekend.

Nobody was biting.

Thank you sir. These are standard capacity magazines, not Hi-Caps. The anti- Second Amendment types are subtly changing our vocabulary. Don't give into it.

Well lampshade, a magazine is what I read while sitting on the toilet. A clip is what people like you put your hair up with.

Not this again!

According to the NRA these two terms are synonymous in common usage and may be freely interchanged, the one for the other. It's only on the Internet that, 'cyberspace cowboys' like to call out the actual mechanical distinctions. Clip, magazine; magazine, clip. Who cares! Neither your manhood, nor your intellect are going to be adversely affected.

Quote:
CLIP ~ A device for holding a group of cartridges. Semantic wars have been fought over the word, with some insisting it is not a synonym for "detachable magazine." For 80 years, however, it has been so used by manufacturers and the military. There is no argument that it can also mean a separate device for holding and transferring a group of cartridges to a fixed or detachable magazine or as a device inserted with cartridges into the mechanism of a firearm becoming, in effect, part of that mechanism.
