I Lost My Brother this weekend.

He was missing for a couple days. He had just returned from an out of town job. Family lost contact with him after he came home. He was found dead today from a self inflicted gun shot wound. I am numb.

It is very tough to lose a sibling unexpectedly. I am very sorry for your loss, that is horrible.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I can remember like it was yesterday in 2001 my friend put a shotgun to his chest and pulled the trigger.

It's not easy. All you can do is tell the people you love how much you love them and spend time with them and hope to have the ability to not look back with regrets. God bless you and your family

Ah ****, I am sorry to hear this.

My condolences to you and your family. I know it sounds cliche-ish, but if you need someone to talk to, I and many others here are more than willing to lend an ear. Please don't think twice about calling me up.

all bad. please accept my condolences.

...

i've typed and erased a few paragraphs about the pain suicide leaves behind, but they don't really comfort. lost both my dad, and a 20-year friend to suicide.

i'm sorry for your loss. may your brother find his peace.
