If you shoot a lot, Pioneer gun club is good.
They are choosy whom they let in and safety is #1, #2, and #3.
Since I have a key, I can go to the indoor range 24x7 and have the place to myself (unless there is an event). A little spooky when it is just you, the first time.

Pioneer is a bit closer to me I believe.. at least one of their ranges is.
That would be a bit odd going in at night like that. Not sure if the wife would be ok with me doing night shooting alone hahah.
I will look into them some more also but I think the membership was a bit out of my budget. Good info all. Thanks!

I usually go at 8am - 14 minutes from home

I contacted the PGC and they gave me some more info on how to apply for membership. I am hoping to swing by for some of the open events and meet the gang.

I dropped by pioneer g.c. today for their NRA Action Pistol practice and had a great time getting to meet some of the members. Very friendly group and I will be sure to come back again soon.

I like it.
On 4 July I went out early and shot 100yds, 200yds, and then some falling plates.
Got home before lunch and the heat rolled in.

What's going on. Need to get some shooting in. If anybody owns land around harrisonville,peculiar let me know. Need somewhere to try out a rifle or two.
